IMPETUX will be at the OSA conference: Optical Trapping Applications (OTA)

April 12nd-15th 2015

Pinnacle Vancouver Harbourfront Hotel,
Vancouver, Canada

We will be giving the invited talk:

Force measurements in complex samples with optical tweezers

We will be also exhibiting our instruments as well as a set up with a very interesting demo that will show the power of our technology. We will be at the booth#106 and more than pleased to meet you there and have a chat about your need in the optical trapping field!.

IMPETUX will be giving the following invited talk at OTA: Optical Trapping Applications

Session Title: Optical Manipulations Fundamentals and Technologies / Optical Manipulation Applications I

Session Date and Times: April 14, 2015 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Here, we show the potential of the detection of changes in the light momentum as a precise method to determine forces in complex samples: in non-homogeneous media, with non-Gaussian beams and on non-spherical particles.

OCIS codes: (350.4855) Optical tweezers; (140.7010) Laser trapping; (170.4520) Optical confinement and manipulation.
